'sweet bird' is the name i gave harper when she was born. it is the words i scratch in pencil on all of her unopened letters, the words i breathe into her neck as she falls asleep, and the words that remind me that it is my job to prepare her for flight.
this blog will be about much more than my child, and i swear to work in birds wherever possible.
