happy father's day


dear kev,

thank you for being such a thoughtful father. thank you for never showing up late and for always showing up fully. you have given harper so many exciting opportunities and have shown her a world of excitement and possibility that she would otherwise never know. and by this i mean everything from hula hooping at concerts to throwing a softball with her right hand to making her "left knee...right knee...left knee." and it's okay that you hate vegetables, that's what i'm here for.

i'm glad we had her.
