there are some pictures that if you were to come upon them, years from now, after the remodel and the cancer and the anniversary cruise, that would swell your heart so big that you would have to sit down for a moment. on the floor, maybe. and with your head bowed you could do nothing but listen to the gentle beat, beat, beating in the small of your throat.
