ever since i began writing for denver magazine and the denver post a few months ago, i have been looking forward to going to south by southwest. for those of you who may not know, sxsw is the ultimate american music conference that takes place each year in austin. not only are there hundreds of seminars and panel discussions but there are over 1000 bands playing each night all over the city. and the parties are supposed to be wildly fun and never ending. but i am most intrigued by rose. she is the girl i am supposed to be sharing a bed with. that's right, you heard me. let's hope she puts that guitar down, because i think it's only a queen.
