My friend and I were recently discussing about the prevalence of technology in our day to day lives. Reading this post makes me think back to that debate we had, and just how inseparable from electronics we have all become.
I don't mean this in a bad way, of course! Societal concerns aside... I just hope that as the price of memory decreases, the possibility of downloading our memories onto a digital medium becomes a true reality. It's a fantasy that I dream about all the time.

i am a boulder-based restaurant publicist, music critic and mother. i believe i have the right to salt and pepper my own food, i dislike bands who don't understand the power of economy in song performance, and i now realize that a tango lesson + three mt. gay and tonics = one hell of a great kid. i am happiest in the summer, riding shotgun with my feet up on the dash and my hand inside a bag of pork rinds. and yes, i know what's in them.
