dear mama,

thank you for this picture of great grandpa jock. i think this simple act of moose-feeding explains a lot about our family and its need to nourish one other. and it is no surprise that the harper clan is the link to our relation to the mccain family: french fry leaders of the free world! if you've ever seen harper mow down a plate of fries, you'd know it runs deeply in her blood. now if only we could get in on a bit of that jing they have so much of. or, i'd settle for a lifetime supply of that raspberry juice. it doesn't seem so long ago that grandma would ask me to trudge out to the wood shed and poke around in the old fridge to find a can. mmm...i can taste it now.
