i never read the book but that didn't stop me from sniffling along with the rest of the women in the theater. i wish they would have explained a bit more about the how time travel works and what it has to do with genetics. i get the take home message though: we are all time travelers. we can come and go without warning. savor every moment...and for god's sake, wear clean underwear, it could suddenly end up in a pile at someone else's feet.
