i know everyone's knee deep in thoughts of john jr.'s wavy hair and political promise but i wanted to honor carolyn today. she had such a strange run of it and really struggled to accept her role as a person who would forever be in the scrutiny of the limelight. she was a dynamic woman from connecticut who was widely regarded for being as smart and talented as she was beautiful. i love this photo of her because she looks like her own woman. and also, because she looks like the venerable julie delpy.
