my friend ruth who "sees at least one film a day" thinks this is is one of the best flicks she's seen all year. further, she is particularly taken by the "prepubescent androgyny and the anti anthropomorphic themes" of this film. or so she says. and then she went on to say that she is a slave to the things she cannot have.
