it was nearly a year ago that i took this picture. we were on our way to cody and nicole's wedding and we decided to spend a couple of extra days at the beach. i watched as you traversed up and down the shore all the while repeating, "this is so great, this is so great...". by the end of our walk, your little hands were overflowing with so many pebbles and shells. and you insisted on keeping them all. today, i walk through our home and see them everywhere: on window sills, on dressers, in jars and even in your jewelry box. thank you, babe, for bringing the beach home.
