thank you for sharing what you did this morning. this was the clip that i was talking about. i think claire captures the essence of what it feels like to have less tethered moments of grief. i am sitting in my kitchen, drinking wine, and looking at a quote my grandfather sent me after my grandmother died:
the most terrible part of a great sorrow is not the beginning,
when the shock of grief throws one into a state of exaltation which is almost anesthetic in its effects,
but afterwards, long afterwards, when people say, "oh, she has gotten over it.
