i've been avoiding these two words for as long as i can remember. it's not that i don't want harper to share in the pleasure of getting to know other children, it's just that i worry i might not want to get to know the parents attached to the child. the issue has been pushed with harper being in preschool and i am happy to report i haven't had a dud in the bunch. in fact, i've met a brazilian woman who likes to talk about sex as much as i do, a women who is writing a sex book with her husband, and then their's juliet, pictured here with her daughter isabella, whom i have known for seven years. juliet and i used to work together at chelsea and every wednesday, juliet would bring in a big vat of sangria she had just mixed or a tumbler of coin style margs or two chilled bottles of basa..you get the point. and by a stoke of magic, our daughters have ended up in the same class. it's no surprise we've set our 'play dates' for each wednesday.
