vacation affords your mind a lot of things: a break from the a to b, a side door out of the rat race, and a chance to just be, so thoughts can flow and form without pressure. your mind loves this because it has a lot better things to do than remember that you are almost out of toilet paper or that you have to check the pressure in the right rear tire or that you really should stop worrying about things so much because, well you know, it's useless.
so, my mind did take a vacation while i was in mexico, and while it wasn't pondering the pythagorean theroem or figuring out how to teach harper to run through a meadow like laura ingalls, my mind did break down every bit of this opening dance which, in my mind, is just as fruitful.
